Thickness is measured at the watch end and gradually tapers toward the strap ends. For example, 2.5 → 1.8 mm means 2.5 mm at the lugs, tapering to 1.8 mm at the buckle and tip.

Lug width is the gap between the watch lugs. Buckle width is the tapered end: it must be an even number from 10 to 24 mm and cannot be wider than the lug width.

Each Cernir strap is made by hand from start to finish, with careful attention to cutting, stitching, edge finishing, and shaping. The underside is lined with Zermatt leather, a smooth, skin-friendly, and moisture-resistant lining for added comfort during daily wear.
