Why Epsom
Epsom is a calfskin with a machine-printed (embossed) grain, and the name is associated with Hermès. Ours comes from Tanneries Haas in France. In our straps it feels light and structured, and its textured, finished surface can make light marks less noticeable, though it cannot prevent cuts or damage from sharp objects. Our slim Epsom straps are 2.5mm thick at the lugs and taper to 1.8mm.
Epsom or Togo?
Both are calfskin. Epsom is firmer and lighter with a fine, even grain. Togo has a softer, natural pebbled grain and a more relaxed feel.
Our most popular Epsom straps
Taupe is our best-selling Epsom colour, followed by black and navy. See the Taupe Epsom slim strap, the Black Epsom slim strap and the Navy Epsom slim strap.
Made by hand in Da Nang
Each strap is cut, skived and layered by hand in our Da Nang workshop, saddle-stitched by hand on stitched styles, then edge-painted in several coats and checked before it ships. See all 18 steps of our crafting process.
Find your size
Our standard Epsom straps are made to order in lug widths from 16 to 24mm; any other lug width is made through our custom builder. See our lug width guide and strap size guide.

Frequently asked questions
Does Epsom leather develop a patina?
Compared with uncoated vegetable-tanned leather, its finished surface usually shows less dramatic darkening and tonal change. It will still show signs of wear over time.
Is Epsom stiff at first?
It is firmer than Togo when new and softens slightly after a few weeks of wear while keeping its shape.
How long does a made-to-order strap take?
We make each strap in 3–7 business days. Free standard shipping then takes 7–10 business days to the US and 10–15 business days to most other countries.
