PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Dark Navy is a deep blue that reads close to black in low light, so the orange stitching, orange painted edges and orange perforation layer stand out sharply against it. This Dark Navy Epsom leather watch strap is a strong choice if you want the colour contrast of a racing strap with a darker, quieter base. We find it pairs well with black, blue and grey dials, and with dive watches that have orange markers.
Built as a padded strap, it measures 4.5mm at the lugs and tapers to 2.0mm at the tail, so it has presence next to a larger case and thins out toward the buckle. Underneath the rows of round holes sits a second layer of orange leather, which shows through every perforation. The Epsom calfskin is from Tanneries Haas in France, with a fine embossed grain and a firm temper. It pairs naturally with chronographs, racing-inspired pieces and sports watches.
The photos show it on a white background, in a close-up of the grain and buckle, from the side to show the orange edges and in the hand. Compared with our Navy, this shade is darker and less saturated. A silver buckle suits steel cases, and a black buckle makes the whole strap read darker.
